Auditors V Pathologists

Why am I talking about auditor again...? Man...I hate this profession. It demotivates me a lot...Nevermind then.
I've watched the movie Pathologist recently and without a second thought, pops out some questions on similarities and differences between the two profession.
Here are my thoughts on it...
(For those who doesn't know what pathologist does, I would be grateful to explain here. Actually, their job is to cut human bodies and to determine the cause of death. Pretty simple right..?)

(For those who doesn't know what pathologist does, I would be grateful to explain here. Actually, their job is to cut human bodies and to determine the cause of death. Pretty simple right..?)
1. Both auditor and pathologist do audits. The former audits on financial statements whereas the latter audit the "salted fish" (bahasa pasar for human dead body).
2. Both auditor and pathologist has the same objectives in their job. The former's main objective is to check the true and fairness of the accounts whereas the pathologist's objective is to identify the cause of death i.e. whether it is due to sudden death or there's foul play involved. Besides, their job is also to find out the cause of death. (Haha...i know it is a bit weird but just accept it that it is almost similar)
3. How auditor and pathologist form a conclusion based on the work performed? What's the process involved? Based on my experience (correct me if I'm wrong), auditor does vouching all the time and also perform some analytical procedures. All they do is dig, dig and dig. The same goes to a pathologist. They "vouch" or check/examine each organs in the body and note down the weight of each organs. That's the same for auditor as every findings were documented clearly, otherwise you will be facing the risk of underaudit!
4.Both auditor and pathologist also uses tools. The former uses calculator, statistical tables, excel worksheet and auditing software to perform their job. In the meantime, a pathologist uses tools like forceps, spana, playar, what else...? I don't know the names in the sense that I can imagine it but could not describe it in rudimentary english.
5.How about the pay? Both are paid peanuts although they are "professionals". Even a sales person and surgeon could even earn double, triple, or many times than what they are being paid currently.
6.Lastly, on qualification aspect. I believed to become a qualified pathology would require you to study for at least 2 years for STPM, 5 years for a Medical degree and 1-3 years(perhaps) to become a specialist in pathology.
As for auditor, how many years needed? Basically, you just need 3 1/2 years to get a professional qualification to be qualified as a audit trainee. Sometimes, I was even wondering whether it is a bit rush to push so many business grads out in a short time. Where is the quality??

Deception: From an auditor to a villain
I've just watch this movie, Deception and I would recommend those who are in auditing/accounting profession to watch this. This movie is not that bad but some may find it hard understand especially it comes to the fraud that was committed around. I could not even understand what they are to doing actually!!This movie stars Ewan McGregor (Jonathan McQuarry), Hugh Jackman (Wyatt Bose), Michelle Williams (S), Maggie Q (MI III) , and Natasha Henstridge (Species I, II). In this movie, Jonathan works as an audit man for one of the biggest accounting firm in the world (most probably one of the big 4) and we could see him stay late at his client's place often.....(what a reality :D )
One day at his client's place, he met up with Wyatt (a lawyer) at the time he was on the penultimate day of the final audit. They soon become close to each other and John did told Wyatt that this is not the life he wanted.
He was soon introduced to a sex club named The List while Wyatt was away on an assignment in London. De facto, Wyatt purposely changed his mobilephone with John's mobilephone so that Wyatt could actually "bring" him indirectly to the sex club by answering anonymous phone calls. John seems to enjoy to be in the sex club as his part time job whereby a call and a cliche quote to the club "Are you free tonight?" will lead him into sex with someone he does not know.
There are few rules that must be followed i.e.
- The initiator should book a hotel room;
- No names are allowed; and
Why his name? Guess what, Wyatt planned to kill him though gas leakage explosion at John's apartment. John found out about this and instead the landlord who was went to fix the pipe leakage was killed. Then, Wyatt stole John's identity and went to Spain to collect the 20m. However, things not seems to be easy going as closure of account requires two signatory, one of it is John's signature. S was actually an ally to Wyatt in this fraud and John also found about this. John appears in Spain and demanded half of the pie from Wyatt and he duly agrees as there are no other choice for Wyatt.
Then, Wyatt tried to kill John but he was killed by S instead...John was shocked and he could persuade her to stay along with her...that's the end of the story....Kudos to the auditors!!

My new rejuvenated N95
I have recently upgraded my N95-1 from the old firmware version 20.0.015 to version 30.0.015. I can frankly tell you that it is a tedious process and it suffered a few shocks which nearly give a heart attack. Why is it tedious? First of all, my N95 is an AP set whereby the product code is 0548986*. Guess what, the product code indicates that the handset is for India market! Har? How can it reach our Malaysia shore? I totally have no idea.
*Hint 1: You can find your N95 product code on the back of the phone, just above the sim card slot. It is printed on a sticker.
Secondly, the latest update for product code 0548986 is still V 20.0.015 . Hence, after googling a while, I have found a way to change the product code so that I can upgrade my firmware version. I admit that I'm a bit "kan jeong" but I can help it because the latest update boast an auto-rotate function just like the hot I Phone 3G! How can I wait? I really don't have any idea when Nokia is going to have my product code available for upgrade. Wait....but not all N95 owners need to go through such an idiot long process. You can check your current product code is available for upgrade to the latest V 30.0.015**. If yes, congratulations to you otherwise please continue to read on. :)
**Hint 2: You can check whether your product code is available for the latest upgrade at this URL ------> http://www.nokia.com.my/A4759038Magic on product code
I have changed my product code to a Singapore product code which is 054833, which is applicable for the latest firmware updagrae. You can verify this through the URL given above. The question now is how to change the product code. The process is simple. All you need to do is to go to this website i.e. http://www.b-phreaks.co.uk/software.htm
After you have downloaded and installed the software, please open the NSS (Nemesis Service Suit) programme. You must make sure that your N95 is plug in to your PC via your USB cable.
In the NSS, click on the "Scan for new devices" (the magnifying glass). Thereafter, it shall able to detect your N95 and you should able to see a new screen. Now click on the "Phone info". You can see your product code there. Just retype a new product code and put a tick on it before you click on write. That's all..simple as that....
Now, you can go to your Nokia Software Uploader and upgrade the latest firmware...:-)
Hint 3: I find that it is a waste of time to backup your phone using the Nokia Content Copier because you my phone nearly crash after the restoration process. May be due to different firmware software when I backup and now restore to a newer version. So, my advice is just install again all the software....
